80.00 Prenatal massage helps relieve the stress and discomfort often experienced by an expectant mother. The benefits of massage include decreased swelling (upper and lower extremities), sciatica symptoms, discomfort or pain as well as improved circulation. A lighter massage technique is applied in order to relax the soft tissues.
The comfort of the mother and well-being of the baby during the massage are our top priority and is achieved by positioning the mother on her side while providing support with extra pillows and bolsters.
NOTE: Prenatal massage may be received after the first trimester is completed and postpartum massage may be received six weeks after delivery.
